Make 2006 Your Best Year Yet!

Have you started falling behind already on those Resolutions?

Don’t worry, you’ve still got 11 months to catch up and get back on track.

If there is one thing I have tried over and over that has worked every time and produced more success for me than anything else it has to be setting goals.

Okay, I hear you - this isn’t about internet marketing but in the grand scheme of things internet marketing isn’t the be-all and end-all is it?

Setting Goals Is Easy Peasy

Get a large piece of paper or card and start sticking pictures onto it of the things you want this year.  Let your mind roam free:

  • Things you want to do
  • Places you want to go
  • People you want to meet
  • Financial targets you want to meet
  • Material things you want to have
  • etc.

Just get pictures for as many of your 2006 goals as possible and then place the board somewhere you will see it at least twice a day.  Guess what - as the days and weeks pass your mind (just like a search engine!) will start trying to find the answers to the questions you have posed it.

With practice and discipline I bet you’ll achieve a fair number of the goals.  When you do - move the pictures over to your newly-created "Goals Achieved Board".  This is your glory place that you can look at in times of challenge to remind yourself how far you’ve come.

Good luck with your goals for 2006!

Michael

I find writing a check list of things I need to get done works best for me. I created my million dollar website that way. Now I’m off to create more websites with less work needed to maintain them. :)
My big item at the moment is a face lift of my current website which I’m sure if it looked better i would have more sales, currently around $3000 a day in sales.

    peace,

    Hiya,
Well I must admit I like the way you have presented your internet marketing business online. I can see how you have built it and I congratulate you on being level headed enough to build properly from the ground up.

One thing I cant get a grasp of is that you must have had a big advantage getting online about 4 years before the common man! By the time I was online i had missed out on so much of the internet bubble, and by the time i learned how to blow that bubble the whole thing ran out of soap.

Still I guess your marketing bible is good and i am considering buying it. The only reason i have not done so far is because i am concerned that it wouldnt help me due to the type of my products.
    :)
Still, all advice i have seen so far is very good. Keep Mythering me and i may buy it.
