I took the dog out and was almost blown over (much to his amusement).

Anyhoo, it turns out the wind had caused power spikes which did something weird to my broadband router.

So there I was, at 515am, on the phone to an engineer.

I’d tried all the usual stuff myself and exhausted my limited knowledge.

This guy cracked it in around 3 minutes and had me back online and able to continue working and making pennies to pay for dog biscuits.

He was a superhero in my eyes.

Without him I would have had to venture out into the storm to go buy a new one.

Just goes to show – it’s always better to get the help of an expert if you want things done quickly (and correctly).
