My daughter is three and half and was besotted with the guy.

All we heard all weekend was;

“When can I see Bob the Elf again?”

The lesson?

Be careful who you idolize otherwise you can get your fingers (frost)burnt.

Imagine my daughter’s heartbreak when she realizes her favorite magic elf is just an out of work actor in a green costume?

It’s like newbies;

They often flock to the most unlikely of characters and then run to the hills screaming in anguish when these characters rip off their masks to reveal their true characters.
