I took the dog out and I was almost blown over (much to his amusement).

It’s alright for him – he’s got 4-legged-drive.

Anyhoo, it turns out the wind had caused power spikes which did something weird to my broadband router.

So there I was, at 515am, on the phone to an engineer.

I’d tried all the usual stuff myself and exhausted my limited knowledge.

This guy cracked it in around 3 minutes and had me back online and able to continue working and making pennies to pay for dog biscuits.

He was a superhero in my eyes.

The lesson:-

It’s always better to get the help of an expert if you want things done quickly (and correctly).
