I hadn’t even encountered the IM “scene” back then – I was too busy raking in $19k a month with my own little money-making authority site.
Not “authority” as in “Cheney is da man” – authority as in “this site has so much content and so many links Google has wet dreams about it and sends it thousands of visitors a day”.
That kind of authority.
Trust me – when you get that kind of free traffic it’s not hard to turn a 5-figure profit, fast.
The problem is – who can really be arsed to create all that content, create all those backlinks and do all that SEO?
Back then it was the only way.
