My self-declared International Zero Pitch Week is off to a rocky start;

The people I respect most have told me it’s a bad move, others think I’ve lost the plot and I’ve already got the shakes from pitch-withdrawal.

It could be a bad idea.

Just like when I started looking at countries to emigrate to a couple of weeks’ back.

I found this cool place near Italy called “Malta” – perfect temperature, English-speaking, great health care and good education system.

Then I looked at a map.

It’s only 17 miles long by 8 miles wide.

Kinda small.

Like Alcatraz.

I would go out of my mind on a place like that without being able to get 100 mile bike rides under my belt.

So yeah – good idea in theory until you see the reality of it.

Perhaps a bit like International Zero Pitch Week.

But to be honest this wasn’t some grand masterplan and I will definitely be making up for it next week have no doubt.
