The Four-Year-Old Toddlers of the Apocalypse
I witnessed some truly disgusting behavior at a kids’ 4-year old birthday party on Sunday (from the parents)…
And I think it’s part of the reason this country’s so messed up.
The horror show started with pass the parcel.
Now call me old-fashioned but back in my day – you only got the prize if you were the lucky git holding the parcel right at the end.
But no.
Not any more.
Not in today’s society that frowns on competition like it’s a disease.
No.
In “New Age Pass the Pussyfoot Parcel” everyone wins.
Every single layer of wrapping paper plops a chocolate prize into the ungrateful lap of a drooling toddler.
“Yes kids – you win every time in life. You don’t have to work hard, be persistent or get lucky. Just show up and you’re fine.”
(Several kids walked off before the game had ended happy with their effortless win).
But it got worse with musical statues.
(Now there’s a phrase I never thought I’d hear myself saying)
Yes, you know – if you get caught moving you’re eliminiated until eventually one competitor is left standing. Right?
No.
Not in today’s “it’s the taking part that counts” society.
In New Age “Competition is an evil which must be stamped out” musical statues there is no elimination;
In fact, several “winners” were picked at the end for being “the best statues”.
Facepalm.
You know what’s wrong with all this pussyfooting around?
It signifies the end of what made the human race successful – competition, survival of the fittest and winner takes all.
We’re breeding a generation of wimpy, non-competitive, losers with a misguided sense of entitlement.
And yet you need a killer instinct to survive and thrive in business today.
It’s dog eat dog.
And if there’s one killer instinct or skill that makes the difference between winning and losing in business it’s;
How to sell.
Usually you have to pay top dollar to get top training on this.
In fact – my friend John Thornhill recently invited a guest speaker to conduct a webinar about how to sell as part of his high ticket mentoring course which cost $2000.
It covered how to sell in 7 simple steps and it went down a storm.
But you needed to pay the $2000 pricetag to get access to the webinar.
However, the guest speaker, Randy Smith, decided the information was too good not to share.
So he “stole” it.
And now you can grab these “how to sell” secrets for yourself without having to pay the $2000 price-tag.
So put your party hat and dance over to this link before your competitors do;
