The following took place at 527am this morning…

It was still dark.

The missus and kids were asleep upstairs.

I was downstairs in the home office working on some stuff (I’m an early riser).

Nature called.

So I made my way from office to toilet in the dark (turning the hall light on wakes up my daughter).

I thought I knew where I was going.

I did not.

I walked headfirst, at pace, into a wall.

The wall won.

I drew blood.

So it turns out I can’t walk through walls. Who knew?

The point of his embarrassing story I hear you plead?
