Greed is good (if you’re eating the right stuff)

smiley-821997_640I love pizza.

I would eat it every night of the week if I could but I know it wouldn’t be the healthiest decision I ever made.

Back when I was in University, my buddies and I would order out for pizza whenever we could afford to.

I remember as soon as the pizza arrived, we raced to the door almost fighting over it to eat as much of it as we could.

We weren’t starving or anything, it’s just it would take a bunch of us to scrape enough pennies together to be able to get one pizza to share between all of us.

At the end of it all, you ended up not getting much pizza at all because of all the competition.

This is just like niche marketing;

You can try to pig out on profits in a large niche with everyone else but you are just fighting for scraps.

There are so many other marketers around, you will just end up eating the crumbs left over on the table.

On the other hand:-

If you really want to dine well, you need to target a small niche instead.

With a smaller pizza, you get everything for yourself because nobody else is trying to compete against you and you can pig out on it.

Hungry yet?

You bet you are so grab your plate and head on over to the kitchen and get as many slices as you want;
